I moved quickly down the final stretch of the trail, my breath still unsteady from running, my mind lingering on the irony of the missed turn. I had slowed my pace slightly, but my body still held the charge of movement. Even as I reached the clearing near the meditation hall, I could feel my pulse in my throat, the lingering heat in my legs.
